Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

What is the difference between Coaching, Counselling, and Group Work?
  • Coaching: Focused on goal-setting, taking action, and personal growth. Coaching helps you clarify priorities and take deliberate steps.

  • Group sessions: A guided group environment to experience, gain insight, and build meaningful connections with others in a supportive setting.

  • Counselling: A safe, confidential space to explore emotions, process challenges, and understand recurring patterns.

What if I need urgent support or am in crisis?

Balm & Nook’s services are not emergency support. If you are in crisis and need immediate help, please contact your national or local emergency services. If you are in the UK, please call 999 or Samaritans on 116 123.

Is your work supervised?

Yes. My work is supervised by a licensed professional to ensure the highest standards of care. Supervision provides guidance, support, and oversight, so clients receive safe, ethical, and effective services at all times.
